- Writing a B1 text in B2 format. Vocabulary too simple (gut, wichtig, immer). You need to step up the register.
- Forgetting to argue. At B2, informing isn't enough — you must take a stand and defend it.
- Skipping the "home country" point. Required point often forgotten = -6 points on Erfüllung.
- Spending too much time on Aufgabe 1. If you exceed 55 min, Aufgabe 2 in 20 min = loss of 15-20 points.
- Using B1 connectors. Aber, deshalb, weil are B1. Move to allerdings, folglich, jedoch, dennoch.
